What a weekend for the stable, thanks to not one, not two, but three great wins at Fair Grounds!
The ball got rolling Saturday with the exciting Maycocks Bay making a glorious return to action after 11 months off.
Godolphin's homebred 3-year-old son of Speightstown made a real splash in five races earlier on in his career, and this latest run suggests there's still much more to come from him, sitting just off the lead for most of the race before kicking clear to win by a length and a half.
Maycocks Bay might just strip a little fitter, too, for the run, and it'll be exciting to see what the trainer does next with the young colt.
One race later, Godolphin's Think Big claimed career win number two, again with Curtis on board, coming from a fair way back to win pretty cozily in the end.
This 3-year-old son of Twirling Candy has been improving all year. And like Maycocks Bay, he appears to have a bit more improvement in him yet.
Yesterday at Fair Grounds, Jackie Huckabay's homebred Notice Me Too showed that her recent win at Delaware Park was no mistake when following up under Jeiron Barbosa.
Notice Me Too broke smart and was ridden confidently before zipping clear of the field to win by a length. This 3-year-old daughter of Omaha Beach is beginning to look like a really smart prospect for the stable, showing in the process that she's very well named!
