An exciting weekend of racing at Fair Grounds is headlined by the return to action of Maycocks Bay, the Godolphin owned and bred colt who carries quite a reputation.
Last time we saw him on the racecourse it was in January of this year, when the son of Speightstown trounced by more than 10 lengths a competitive allowance optional claimer.
As the year nears an end, Mike Stidham has a few remarks for the winter months ahead, with the Stidham stable split between Fair Grounds and Oaklawn Park.
"We're glad to be back at the Fair Grounds, happy to be in our homes, and excited to get rolling with some winners to make this another good meet," said Stidham.
"We're all settled in very well at Oaklawn, too, and that meet starts Friday," he said, adding that he has about 20 horses stabled at the Arkansas track. "All the signs point to an exciting winter."
On Monday, we'll fill you all in on another great development - that the stable has teamed up with The Racing Manager, a fantastic online platform that will make the ownership experience even more rewarding.
