The Stidham stable sends out a double-bill of runners in this weekend's Pago Hop Stakes at Fair Grounds in an effort to see out the year in the very best way possible!
Before we examine their chances, let's take a look at a lovely winner for the barn today at Fair Grounds, courtesy of Oak Crest Farm's Fleet Frost.
Ridden confidently by Ben Curtis, Fleet Frost drew away down the stretch to win by 2 1/4 lengths. This 2-year-old daughter of Frosted looks like a smart customer, now the penny's dropped. It'll be interesting to see where she heads next.
Tomorrow, Tufani and Mo Bills line up in the $100,000 Pago Hop Stakes, a mile turf contest, ridden by Ben Curtis and Jarreth Loveberry respectively.
Tufani is the more favored of the two in the betting, and was an eye-catching winner last time out at the same track, with some black type form to her name. Mo Bills is a two-time career winner already.
