This has been a good week for the barn, with a couple lovely winners at Delaware Park and Colonial Downs.
On Monday at the Delaware track, MKW Racing and Breeding's talented 3-year-old filly Distorted d'Oro made it 2-for-2 with a thoroughly professional performance under Julio Hernandez, leading from start to finish.
Distorted d'Oro was an expensive breeze-up purchase last year. Stidham clearly has given her all the time she needs to come to hand, and it's paying off. She'll be one to look out for now the second half of the season has gotten underway.
Yesterday at Colonial Downs, DARRS Inc's My Sanctuary put his best foot forward under Ben Curtis to break his maiden in determined fashion.
Given a patient ride by Curtis, My Sanctuary got up late to win by a neck. In winning, he hinted at yet more to come.
